Water Tests Come Back Negative for Pharmaceuticals
The City of Spokane’s Water Department, in response to recent national attention by the Associated Press concerning pharmaceuticals in drinking water, recently completed testing on Spokane’s drinking water for the presence of pharmaceuticals and steroids. 2009 Lodging Tax Grants
The City of Spokane’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee is seeking applications for 2009 lodging tax grants. Grant funds totaling $100,000 are to be divided among projects that promote eligible tourism and cultural activities in the City of Spokane.
