Human Services Advisory Board Mission Statement or Purpose:
The Human Services Advisory Board is appointed by the Office of the Mayor to provide a liaison between the City Council, the Human Services providers, and the recipients of human services in an effort to determine the human service needs of the City of Spokane, and to recommend the appropriate financial resources to meet the service needs as prioritized by the Human Services Advisory Board and approved by the City Council. The Board meets the First Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Briefing Center, City Hall.
