Regional Cable Advisory Board Mission Statement:
The Cable Advisory Board should advise, interpret, and recommend actions to the City Council with respect to the terms and conditions of the Comcast Cable Franchise Agreement and Regulatory Ordinance. The Board should protect and encourage public participation in community and education access to cable services; monitor the performance and activity of the Cable Advisory Board for Learning and Education; monitor the use of funds or monies referenced in the Cable Franchise Ordinance on a quarterly basis; and provide a problem resolution function as may be requested by the Cable Advisory Board members, the City Council, Comcast Cable, City staff, or citizens.
