Agendas

To promote the City's state and federal legislative priorities, the Government Relations and Outreach develops two legislative agendas every year. One agenda is presented to the Washington State Legislature and the other is presented to the U.S. Congress. These agendas are composed of the policies and issues that the City of Spokane wants addressed and are used to garner support for and/or mitigate issues that may be harmful to the City.

After the state legislative session is over, the department compiles a State Legislative Wrap-up. This includes a list of all the issues that the City received support from by the State Legislature.
