Jan is the executive assistant to the Chief Operating Officer, and as such schedules all appointments, conducts initial research on issues, and fields numerous comments, questions and complaints. She also is the Mayor's liaison to the Sister Cities Association.

Background: Jan has worked for the City of Spokane for nearly 30 years in a variety of municipal government offices with various responsibilities and has completed many professional and management courses.
