Information for Firefighter - Entry Level

Minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: High school diploma or equivalent. No previous experience necessary. Must be within normal weight range for height. Have normal vision, normal color perception, and normal hearing. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.

Note: Applicants must have successfully completed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training and be eligible for Washington State EMT certification at the time of interview. APPLICANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE EMT TRAINING OR POSSESS EMT CERTIFICATION AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION OR EXAMINATION.
