| How You Can Get Involved |
The City is always looking for volunteers to fill positions on its various boards and commissions.
Another way to find out what your government is doing is to attend or view City Council meetings. The City Council holds meetings every Monday evening at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in the lower level of City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Boulevard An afternoon briefing session is conducted at 3:30 p.m., also in the Council Chambers. Both meetings are open to the public and shown live on CityCable 5. Agendas are available from the City Clerk’s Office, 5th Floor, City Hall, 625-6350. They also are available for viewing on CityCable5 and the City’s documents page.
Spokane’s Mayor keeps citizens informed through a bi-weekly cable television program called “Your City.” The half-hour television program can be seen on CityCable 5, along with a host of other programming about your community. Click here to see Cable 5’s schedule.
