The First Commercial Building in Spokane Falls was a saw mill that James N. Glover bought from Downing and Scranton in 1873. James N. Glover (later known as the founder of Spokane) built a store and lived with his wife in a building on the southeast corner of what is now Spokane Falls Boulevard and Howard Street. |
