By now, The Edison Illuminating Company had built a generating plant where The Washington Water Power Building now stands. Sacred Heart Hospital was constructed. Naturism Park was opened. There was a Catholic Church on Main, an Episcopal Church on Riverside, a Presbyterian Church on Riverside, and a Methodist church that opened Spokane’s first collegiate school “Spokane College” in 1882. |
