The first portion of Sacred Heart Medical Center opened. The Davenport Hotel opened, Pacific Telephone started building at 2nd and Stevens, and The Union Pacific, the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Pacific railroads began service to Spokane on the north side of Trent (now Spokane Falls Blvd.) between Stevens and Washington streets. |
