Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens Open For The Season Saturday, May 16, 2009

The recently restored Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens open for the season on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Located in Pioneer Park, the Gardens are owned and operated by the City of Spokane Parks & Recreation Department.

Located at 507 West Seventh Avenue, the recently restored Moore-Turner Heritage Gardens, west of the Corbin Art Center, are open to the public weekends in May beginning Saturday, May 16, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the summer, June through August, the Gardens will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (closed Monday & Tuesday). For additional information please call the Corbin Art Center at (509) 625-6677. The Corbin Art Center is conveniently located in the historic Daniel Chase Corbin House. The Gardens and the D.C. Corbin House are listed on the local, state and national historic registers and are situated in the Marycliff/Cliff Park National Register Historic District.

About Spokane Parks and Recreation
