LEAF PICKUP

City of Spokane leaf pickup crews, working seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., will run into mid-December. Crews begin on Spokane’s North Side gradually moving to the South Hill. The City’s leaf pickup service is intended to remove only the leaves that naturally fall into the streets. Residents should not rake leaves into the street. Please move your vehicle from the street before leaf crews are in your neighborhood. The leaf pickup schedule also can be found on the City’s leaf pickup hotline at 456-2666 and at spokanestreetdepartment.org.

The leaf pickup schedule for Nov. 20 through Nov. 25, from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. is as follows:

Friday, Nov. 20— Lidgerwood Area: South of Francis Ave., north of Garland Ave., west of Perry St., and east of Division St.

South Freya Area: South of I-90, north of 29th Ave., west of Havana St., and east of Southeast Blvd./Ray St.

            Manito Park Area: South of I-90, north of 29th Ave., west of Grand Blvd., and east of Monroe St.

Saturday, Nov. 21— Lidgerwood Area: South of Francis Ave., north of Garland Ave., west of Perry St., and east of Division St.

South Freya Area: South of I-90, north of 29th Ave., west of Havana St., and east of Southeast Blvd./Ray St.

            Hamblen Area: South of 29th Ave., north of High Dr./54th Ave., east of Perry (south from 37th Ave.)/Cook St. (north from 37th Ave.), and west of Bernard St.
