The First Night Spokane winter festival of the arts and entertainment on New Year’s Eve will be held downtown. A number of streets will be closed and parking will not be allowed. Vehicles left on closed streets may be ticketed and towed. Howard St. from Main Ave. to Spokane Falls Blvd. will be closed from 7 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, to 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1. The remaining streets will be closed from 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, to 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1: Spokane Falls Blvd. from Stevens to Post streets, and Wall St. from Main Ave. to Spokane Falls Blvd. STA shuttle service will be available to pick up attendees at the yellow lot at Riverpoint Campus and move them from one venue location to another.
