Chapter 07.08 Funds

Article II. Special Revenue Funds

1. There is established in the City treasury a special revenue fund to be known as the “com¬bined communications center fund” to be used for the receipt of revenues and for the payment of expenditures (except for “startup costs” as described in the agreement) for the fire service communications and dispatch centers operated by the City fire department pursuant to interlocal cooperation agreement among the City of Spokane and Fire Protection Districts 1, 8 and 9 of Spokane County.
    
2. The combined communications center fund is administered by the City in accordance with generally accepted government accounting principles but is under the policy direction and subject to audit by the policy board established in the agreement.
    
3. Moneys in the fund may accumulate from year to year. Upon termination of the agreement unencumbered moneys will be returned to the parties in proportion to their use of the services, as specified in the agreement.
