The payroll section has the centralized responsibility for the payment of wages and the processing of deductions for approximately 2000 City of Spokane employees. The payroll group ensures the City’s compliance with multiple bargaining unit contracts, as well as with other City, State and Federal tax, wage and hour regulations.
