To celebrate the centennial of Spokane’s Incorporation from 1881, The old Montgomery Ward building was remodeled into offices to become the new City Hall. Also, celebrating one hundred years of community, The Centennial Trail from the Spokane House to the far side of Coeur d'Alene Lake was built after months of planning with Spokane’s partners in Idaho. The Centennial Trail is 69 miles in length.
